Overview: Since 1947, Fuller Seminary has equipped visionary scholars, ministers, teachers, and mental health professionals to create bold, innovative ways to share the hope and healing of Christ in the church and the world. Fuller draws students from every corner of the world to explore the depth and breadth of Christian thought and practice, alongside leading scholars and practitioners, in a diverse community of intellectual rigor and interdenominational unity.
The Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy (MSMFT) degree program at Fuller Arizona is designed to meet the requirements for licensure in Arizona. You will be specially trained to work with couples and families, but you will also be able to work with individuals dealing with a wide variety of issues. In a supportive community of faculty and fellow students, you’ll be formed to serve as a skilled therapist, with your Christian faith informing your clinical work.
The Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT) degree is designed for licensed mental health clinicians seeking to deepen their clinical expertise and further their professional training. This hybrid (online and in-person) program provides advanced clinical training and further develops skills in assessment and research for therapists practicing in clinical settings including private practice, community agencies, schools, hospitals, or universities.
